Cohousing Advocates Open House 4th Saturdays
Open house hours are once a monty, usually on the 4th Saturday, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, at Joelyn Malone's home, 2901 Monterey Ave. S.
Saint Louis Park MN. Come ask questions, find out what we are doing, and get a tour of the cohousing community where Joelyn lives.

Dave Strait is soliciting interest for a cohousing community on the land he owns next to Mary Lake, about 42 miles west of Minneapolis. Quarterly Monterey Cohousing Tour and Dinner

Discover the Twin Cities' first cohousing community. Join us for dinner (optional), a tour, and a discussion with Q& A Session with experienced Cohousers.
Dinner is $5 per person ($2.50 for kids 12 and under).
- 6:30 p.m. for Dinner and a Tour
- 7:15 p.m. for the Tour
- 7:45 for a discussion and Q&A session with cohousers.
Call 952-930-7554 at least 3 days in advance to let us know you are coming and to make a dinner reservation if you wish.
Sessions are once per quarter, usually the 3rd Thursdays of January, April, July and October.

Buffalo Commons Village, Northfield MN
Bruce Anderson of Sustainable Community Solutions is working with an elderly friend who owns land just outside the Northfield city limits, and wants to see it developed responsibly. Bruce states that their goal is "to develop roughly 21 acres, adjacent to the Northfield city limits) developed responsibly and in as “green” a fashion as possible, with the majority of the land remaining as natural and agricultural land". This may be perfect for those of you wanting a rural setting, but with conveniences nearby. He envisions a large organic garden for the community, and possibly leasing the arable land to an organic farmer. There are plenty of woods and wetlands to also keep nature-lovers happy.
